RODENTIFICATION

Rodentification is the amount of actions, which aim to a rodent free environment. It includes three stages:
1) Prevention
2) Control
3) Maintenance

PREVENTION: it contains the actions, which, during their performance, make the rodents' survival attempts difficult. The biological circle and the habits or the characteristics of the rodents dictate these actions. They are controlled by the pest control operator and are performed in co-operation with the client.
CONTROL: it includes the enforcement of a complete program of actions, which intends to eliminate the rodents. Firstly, we identify the kind of the rodent (e.g. mouse, rats, etc.). This is achieved by the search for hints (drops, chipping and damages) or by visual contact that allows us to work out the total number of rodents' population, their allows and their passing. The glue boards and the snap traps can be useful in small infestations, but they surely become recognizable- by the rodents after three or four days. The baiting applications are those which solve the problem once and for all. Modern anticoagulant rodenticides have high level of LD50 (high rate of safety meaning gr. of substance/kgr. of height), they do not cause bait-shyness to the rodents, they are efficient and they mummify (through solution in the continuation of the blood) the corpses so that th d available in every field of performance (ships - houses - outdoor and other indoor applications).
SAFETY: Despite the safety which is provided by modern rodenticides, EU.DI.FON, showing respect to the environment and the animals, which do not need to be eliminated, uses special BAIT STATIONS, which prevent children and pets from getting close to the spread medicine.

EU.DI.FON'S ADVICE
  1. Try to cut away the possible entrances of the rodents (e.g. holes, branches, cables, etc.) which make their access easy.
  2. Destroy possible places where nests could be created (e.g. gathering of things).
